  Trinity Lutheran Church is a humble treasure. Pastor Niemtschk continuously reminds us that our worthiness is not measured by what we do -- or don't do; or by what we have done in the past. Our acceptance, complete forgiveness and eternal love is found in the cross; it is found in Jesus-- who experienced suffering and rejection -- who humbly died on the cross for imperfect people like you and me.
  
  If you are looking for a church that is a status symbol in the community -- that has the fanciest interior, is equipped with all the latest bells and whistles, that promises services sure to "fire you up" like a well-rehearsed football pep-rally or offer you a continuous supply of politically correct platitudes -- Trinity is not the place you are searching for.
  
  Trinity is a simple, humble, imperfect church; but the message offered inside can help point you to where you can "find rest for your soul". As a man wrote years ago: "Truly my soul finds rest in God; my salvation comes from Him. Truly He is my rock and my salvation; He is my fortress, I will never be shaken" (Psalms 62:1 NIV).
  
  If this is what you are searching for, the great thing is -- you don't have to come to Trinity to find God -- though you certainly are welcome to come. All you have to do is to let Him open your heart -- because God is right there beside you waiting to come in. Its not up to you to do anything but trust in Him -- He does it all and will take care of you and guide you. He will never leave you nor forsake you.
  
  You can count on Him.
